Privacy policy for the current Vitmora product.

This page explains how Vitmora currently handles account information, user-entered financial data, authentication flows, assistant interactions, and account deletion requests. It is written to be factual and conservative rather than promotional.

Effective date: 20 March 2026

1. Information we collect

Vitmora currently collects information required to operate an authenticated financial product and information users enter into the product.

  • account details such as email, username, password hash, timezone, and preferred currency
  • user-entered financial information such as expenses, income entries, budgets, and related transaction details
  • account and product activity information related to login, verification, password reset, and in-app usage
  • assistant and AI-entry inputs when users submit text to Ask Vitmora or natural language entry flows

2. How we use information

Vitmora uses this information to operate the service and deliver the product experience users expect.

  • to create and manage accounts
  • to verify email addresses and support password reset flows
  • to store, organize, and present expenses, income, budgets, dashboard views, and statistics
  • to provide Ask Vitmora responses and related assistant workflows inside the product
  • to maintain service reliability, investigate misuse, and support account security

3. Financial data in Vitmora

Vitmora is designed around financial data that users enter into the application. This page does not claim bank sync, card sync, or external financial institution integrations that are not already part of the current product.

User-entered financial records may be used to generate dashboard summaries, statistics, budgeting context, and Ask Vitmora answers inside the product.

4. Authentication and account protection

Vitmora includes account registration, login, email verification, password reset, and authenticated access to user data.

Passwords are stored as password hashes rather than plain text passwords. This page does not make unsupported statements about legal compliance programs or certifications.

5. Assistant and AI-related interactions

When users interact with Ask Vitmora or natural language entry flows, the system may process the submitted text and relevant financial context needed to return useful results inside the app.

Those interactions may be stored as part of normal service operation, product reliability work, debugging, or product improvement.

6. Sessions and technical data

Vitmora uses standard web application mechanisms such as sessions and related technical data needed to support authentication, secure usage, and normal application behavior.

7. Data retention

Vitmora retains account and user-entered financial information as needed to operate the service for a user account, unless the product later introduces a more specific retention policy.

8. Account deletion

Users can request account deletion from inside the app or by following the instructions on the Delete Account page.

Deletion requests are intended to remove the user account and associated product data, subject to limited temporary retention where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or operational recovery.

9. Policy changes

Vitmora may update this policy as the product evolves. If data handling changes materially, this page should be reviewed and updated to reflect that change.
